Cartoon Crossroads Columbus

CXC is a free, citywide arts festival hosted every year by people and places with a passion for cartoon arts. CXC connects the global family of cartoon storytellers, comic makers, and animators with the people who love and are inspired by their art.

Together, they celebrate the stories that can only be told in visual media that are as diverse as the people who imagined them.

Staying in Columbus

Our Featured Partner Hotels

CXC loves our Columbus hotels. By January 2019, CXC will have a few rooms set aside at a handful of hotels for that September's festival. Further, we will designate the hotel at which the bulk of our special guests will stay.

CXC has been unable to guarantee the best rates for our guests at individual hotels. We therefore encourage hopeful attendees to use independent means and direct contact to find these best rates.

We also remind our attendees and exhibting guests that as a university town, Columbus offers a variety of privately reserved staying options through services like AirBNB.

To locate hotels and privately reserved staying options in relation to the festival:

Use the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum (1813 N High St, Columbus, OH 43210) as your point of reference for the majority of programs Thursday and Friday.
Use the downtown branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library (96 S Grant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215) for the majority of programs Saturday and Sunday.
