In recent years, political activism and protest movements have been driven by young people hungry for social justice and other important causes. These protests hearken back to earlier, similar movements, many of which have been documented in recent historical graphic novels. Join moderator Andy Kunka (University of South Carolina Sumter) in discussion with Derf Backderf (Kent State: Four Dead in Ohio), Nate Powell (the March trilogy, Save It for Later), and Chris Oliveros (Are You Willing to Die for the Cause?) as they look at ways in which past political activism can teach us about the present.
